Not Stevie. Confusing, I know.

I’m a musician by trade and, alongside photography, I manage a local recording studio. I’ve always had an interest in photography, thanks in large part to my dad and his chunky DSLR. That camera went everywhere, holidays, family events, weddings… even when there was already a professional photographer there, Dad would still be snapping away with that unmistakable mechanical shutter.

I properly picked up a camera myself in 2024, when surgery meant I couldn’t play football for a while. I needed something to keep me busy, so I dug out Dad’s old camera and gave it a go. The first photos were, quite frankly, terrible. But I kept going, kept learning and, before long, found myself completely hooked.

What I love most about photography is capturing moments that can’t be recreated. The intensity of a sporting moment, the emotion of a wedding, or those little in-between moments that might otherwise be forgotten.

Eventually, I asked my mum if she fancied going into business with me. She said yes, and, thankfully, she’s much better at the admin side of things than me!

And so, Shot by Stevie was born.

Today, we offer photography alongside our Digital Photo Booth and Audio Guestbook, giving you plenty of ways to capture the moments, memories and emotions that make your event yours.
